“Endowment grant funds made it possible for our elementary schools to purchase skating equipment through funds matched by PTO. Students have loved the opportunity to skate and this investment will save us money from having to rent the skates. There is a current trend in physical education towards lifetime wellness and the physical education department of USD 368 is committed to introducing and teaching our students activities that can be continued throughout their life in an effort to reverse the trend of our society towards childhood and adult obesity. ”

Since 1983, the USD 368 Endowment Association has awarded grants to provide funding for educational programs that will enhance the academic achievements of students throughout USD #368.
