Crafting Club
Crafting Club (formerly Crochet Club) meets once a week in room 217, usually on Mondays after school until 4:00 PM. All Paola Middle School students and faculty are welcome to attend. Mrs. Lohaus-Fast will provide a variety of crafting projects for students and staff to try out, using a multitude of different crafting supplies. So far, some projects completed during meetings include plastic canvas projects, hand-sewing with felt stuffies, origami, paper crafting, diamond art, jewelry charm-making, and wood burning. Mrs. Lohaus-Fast can also teach crocheting and knitting. Students and staff who attend can make requests or suggestions about crafts they would like to explore, and Mrs. Lohaus-Fast will do her best to accommodate requests. New projects will be available weekly, but anyone is welcome to try previously presented crafts during the meeting. Members can also bring in their personal craft projects for help or to share.
